A few days ago, a news about the cancellation of the joint venture between NIO and JAC attracted attention in the market. Specifically, Jianglai Advanced Manufacturing Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd. added 1 new cancellation and filing announcement, the reason for the cancellation is “resolution dissolution”, and the announcement period is from June 10 to July 24.
In this regard, NIO officially said that in 2016, NIO and JAC reached a strategic cooperation, mainly cooperating in the production of NIO series vehicles. With the deepening of cooperation, the two sides jointly established Jianglai Advanced Manufacturing Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd. in March 2021 to provide production service support for NIO. It is reported that Jianglai Advanced Manufacturing Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 510 million yuan, its business scope includes road motor vehicle production, production line management services, supply chain management services, etc., and is jointly held by NIO Holdings Co., Ltd. and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd.
In December 2023, NIO obtained access to road motor vehicle manufacturers, and the cooperation with JAC at the vehicle manufacturing level ended simultaneously, and Jianglai Company, which is based on cooperative production support business, is no longer necessary to exist.
