July 3 – FEV, a leading global provider of engineering services, officially announced the opening of its new China headquarters in Anting Town, Shanghai, and signed a site selection agreement. Yan Jianming, Secretary of the Party Committee of Anting Town, and Professor Stefan Pischinger, Chairman of the FEV Shareholders’ Meeting, attended the signing ceremony of the project.
With the new headquarters in Anting, FEV China will further expand its strategic presence in this important market of the global automotive industry and lay the foundation for closer cooperation with regional partners in the field of sustainable powertrain technology and intelligent transportation.

With Anting’s regional advantages, FEV’s new headquarters will also work more closely with local innovation clusters, such as the countryIntelligent networkingAutomobile (Shanghai) Pilot Demonstration Zone, which is China’s first national intelligent networked vehicle pilot demonstration zone. Engineering suppliers will contribute to these industry-research collaborations by innovating forward-looking technologies and bringing them to market.
Further expand development and testing capabilities in China
As part of China’s long-term strategy, FEV is building a comprehensive north-south network in China. The new Shanghai Engineering Center will serve as the core development base, while the existing test center in Yanjiao will remain an important pillar of validation and testing activities.
This dual setup will enable FEV to increase responsiveness in the Chinese market and ensure that customers receive comprehensive support from concept development, validation to industrialization.
