A few days ago, the car quality network learned from relevant channels that the official picture of Toyota GR YARiS Aero Performance was released. The new car has undergone a number of aerodynamic upgrades compared to the regular version of the model, and production is scheduled to begin in 2026. The Toyota GR YARiS Aero Performance made its debut in Greece at this year’s WRC World Rally Championship, and will also be present at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK in July.
The overall silhouette of the new car is no different from the regular version, except that it has been replaced with a new version of the sports package, which is not only more visually striking, but also effectively improves aerodynamics. The front front grille is larger, and the engine compartment cover and the side of the body are added to the deflector to create a strong fighting atmosphere.
At the rear, the Toyota GR YARiS Aero Performance is equipped with a large-sized rear spoiler that can be manually adjusted at an angle, and with a deflector at the rear surround, it can further comb the rear airflow, thereby improving the high-speed stability of the vehicle.
In terms of power, the Toyota GR YARiS Aero Performance will most likely still be equipped with a 1.6T three-cylinder turbocharged engine. After upgrading the intake and exhaust and fuel injection systems, the maximum horsepower of the engine can reach 304Ps, the maximum torque is 400Nm, and the transmission system is matched with a 6-speed manual transmission. For more news about the new car, the car quality network will continue to pay attention to and report.
