Recently, the car quality network learned from relevant channels that Chevrolet officially released the official pictures of the new generation of Groove. As a replacement product of the Groove series, the new car has ushered in a comprehensive upgrade in terms of design, configuration and power, and is based on the Wuling Starlight platform. In terms of appearance, the new generation of Groove bids farewell to the design language of the previous generation model derived from the Baojun 510, and the overall shape is more powerful. The new car provides an RS sports package for some models, including a blackened grille, red body decoration, RS exclusive logo and a two-sided exhaust layout, bringing a stronger visual impact. The rear part continues the design style of deflectors and dynamic rear surrounds, and the overall style is more youthful.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4350 (4365) mm*1750mm*1610 (1640) mm, and the wheelbase is 2550mm. Compared with the previous model, the new car has been improved in length and width, the wheelbase remains unchanged, and the overall space performance is expected to be further optimized.
In the interior part, the new generation of Groove continues the interior layout of Wuling Starlight, with black as the main color, supplemented by red embellishments, creating a simple yet dynamic atmosphere. In terms of configuration, the high-end model will be equipped with a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch central control screen, as well as Bluetooth connectivity, mobile phone interconnection function and USB Type-C charging interface to improve the convenience of daily use.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 108kW and a peak torque of 250N·m, and the transmission system is matched with a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission, using a front-wheel drive layout, taking into account fuel economy and urban driving practicality.
