On June 30, CATL’s two CTP2.0 high-end battery pack production lines at the Cialis Gigafactory were officially put into operation. This is the first base of CATL in Chongqing, and for the first time adopts the “factory-in-factory” cooperation model to supply power battery systems for the localized production of Wenjie series models.

As one of the representatives of China’s new luxury car brands, all models have been equipped with CATL batteries since its inception, and the cumulative market holdings have exceeded 700,000 units.
As one of the most advanced benchmark factories in the world, Cialis Gigafactory has four characteristics: efficiency, intelligence, cutting-edge and green. The commissioning of the “factory-in-factory” model of CATL will further help Wenjie improve the production and delivery speed and shorten the user pick-up cycle. At the same time, CATL will help all links of the automotive industry chain based on its ability to promote carbon neutrality in its own value chain, assist Cialis to build a complete “green car value chain”, and strengthen the global brand image of “zero-carbon intelligent manufacturing”.
In addition, the cooperation between CATL and Cialis has extended from power batteries to the field of zero carbon.
In April this year, the two sides jointly completed and successfully connected to the grid of the first phase of the Cialis Gigafactory 50MW distributed photovoltaic project, providing core green energy for the factory.
In the future, CATL and Cialis will work together for a long time to deepen strategic collaboration in the fields of new product research and development, new technologies and new material applications, and promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the whole industry chain.
