According to reports, the core equipment of the production line put into operation this time integrates eight functions such as automatic coating of positive and negative electrode cells, electrode separator compounding, and dynamic heat sealing, with a total length of more than 35 meters and designCapacityup to 1.25GWh.
At the same time, the first batch of new solid-state 1.0 battery samples off the production line have passed the new national standard GB38031-2025 and strict needle punch tests, and achieve ultra-high safety of “non-combustible and neither explosive” nor explosive with a flow-free electrolyte design. In terms of energy density, the company has achieved the first generation of products of more than 300Wh/kg, the second generation of 400Wh/kg product samples has entered the trial production stage, and plans to launch the third generation of all-solid-state batteries with an energy density of more than 500Wh/kg in 2027.
With the landing of the world’s first GWh-level production line, the 150-acre new solid-state battery industrial park built by Anwa New Energy in Wuhu has completed the construction of 12 core building units.
This breakthrough will not only lay the foundation for enterprises to achieve mass production within the year, but also provide innovative solutions for power vehicles, energy storage power stations and low-altitude economy, and effectively promote the technological upgrading of the global new energy industry.
According to public information, Anwa New Energy was established in June 2020 and is owned by Chery Group. The company focuses on the R&D and industrialization of semi-solid-state batteries, and has core technologies such as lithium-ion battery manufacturing process and intelligent manufacturing of new batteries.
Previously, in April this year, Gao Lixin, director and general manager of Anva Technology, said that looking forward to the future, Anva Technology plans to build a production capacity of 60-100GWh at home and abroad, and this goal will be gradually achieved according to market demand and investment and financing progress.
