Recently, BYD Group announced important personnel adjustments, and Zhao Changjiang, general manager of the sales division of its brand Denza, and Li Hui, general manager of the direct sales division of Equation Leopard, completed the job swap. This rotation aims to empower different business segments and enhance organizational vitality through diversified management experience.

According to public information, Zhao Changjiang joined BYD in 2009 and gradually rose from a grassroots sales position, preparing for BYD’s high-end brand and taking over the Denza brand division from 2021. Zhao Changjiang recently posted on Weibo to systematically review the development history of Denza: since the strategic renewal in 2022, the brand has successfully completed the two major stages of “full preparation” and “resource integration”, achieving double breakthroughs in domestic and foreign markets and brand building.

In the first half of 2025, the Denza brand sold a total of 79,830 units, a year-on-year increase of 34%, and the monthly sales in June reached 15,783 units, a year-on-year increase of 28.6%, and has achieved monthly sales of more than 15,000 units for three consecutive monthsNew energyLuxury brand camp.

Li Hui, who took over as general manager of Denza’s sales division, joined BYD in 2004 and has held many key positions such as auto finance, rail business and Equation Leopard direct sales division.

From January to June 2025, Equation Leopard sold a total of 60,746 units, surpassing last year’s annual sales, and monthly sales in June reached 18,903 units, a year-on-year increase of 605.3%, showing strong momentum.

In the future, Denza is about to usher in a series of blockbuster new products, the new model N8L is about to be launched, and the brand’s target monthly sales scale will move towards 2-30,000 units. Zhao Changjiang said that he will continue to work hard in his new position and continue to promote the progress of China’s automobile industry.

The executive rotation occurs during a critical period of breakthrough growth for both Denza and Equation Leopard brands, and the exchange of positions between the two experienced managers is not only a strategic measure for BYD to strengthen internal collaboration, but also injects new momentum into its luxury and personalized brand matrix.
