On June 13, Geely Automobile officially released a new generation of electric hybrid technology – Thor AI Electric Hybrid 2.0. This technology has been iteratively innovated on the basis of the original EM super hybrid system, and launched a combination of “Xingrui AI Cloud Power 2.0 + Geely Super Electric Hybrid System 2.0”.

Thor AI Electric Hybrid 2.0 is expected to use a 1.5T four-cylinder engine to work in tandem with the DHT (single-speed P13) hybrid system. Through the single-speed P13 architecture, the DHT hybrid system realizes the power coupling and decoupling of the engine and the electric motor, and automatically switches the power output mode under different working conditions, taking into account power performance and fuel economy.

It is reported that Raytheon AI Electric Hybrid 2.0 supports OTA upgrades and is expected to be pushed in the fourth quarter of this year.

Based on the Xingrui AI Cloud Power 2.0 platform, Geely AI Electric Hybrid 2.0 was launchedEM-i, EM-p, and E-fuelThree different versions are aimed at three major application scenarios: high energy saving, high performance and alternative fuels.

The EM-i version focuses on high energy saving + low energy consumption, and by optimizing the flame propagation speed and turbulence intensity in the cylinder, the engine efficiency range is increased by 5%, and the thermal efficiency reaches 47.26%. The Geely Galaxy A7 will be equipped with em-i technology for the first time, achieving an excellent performance of only 2.67L in fuel consumption per 100 kilometers under CLTC conditions.

For consumers looking for driving pleasure, the EM-p version is an ideal choice. EM-p technology is positioned as high safety + strong performance, and adopts a redundant design of 5 power sources, including P1, P3, engine and rear dual motors, ensuring the stability and reliability of power output. Combined with the intelligent all-terrain recognition function of Xingrui AI Cloud Power 2.0, EM-p technology can dynamically distribute four-wheel torque to provide excellent handling performance.Geely Galaxy M9The first launch is equipped with EM-p technology, achieving a zero hundred acceleration of 4.5 seconds, while the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is controlled at 4L.

In addition, Geely is also actively exploring the application of alternative fuels, among which the alcohol-hydrogen EF technology uses the fifth-generation alcohol-hydrogen special engine, with a thermal efficiency of up to 48.15%, and can be flexibly matched with methanol, gasoline, electricity, hybrid energy and other forms.

From 677,000 units in 2025, there will be a significant increase every year, and this number will climb to 1.34 million units by 2030, especially the sales of PHEV models, which will increase from 582,000 units in 2025 to 1.137 million units in 2030.
